If you are unhappy with the colour and shape of your teeth, you might also like to consider our veneer treatment in Grantham as a quick fix solution. Irregularities in the tooth can be improved and when veneers are used on groups of teeth, they can dramatically transform your smile.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do I have to pay for orthodontic treatment?
Children under the age of 18 are entitled to orthodontic care on the NHS providing that their teeth fall in one of the Government’s assessment categories. Teeth are graded from 1 to 5, with 4 and 5 automatically being given NHS treatment. Grade 3 is a grey area with an additional weighting. Grades 1, 2 and some 3s are not available on the NHS from any provider and as such would only be available privately. A free NHS assessment will determine what grade your teeth are.
-
Am I too old for braces?
No! Most of our braces in Grantham are started on children around the age of 12, however we are treating increasing numbers of adult patients - even those in their 60s. Adult braces can be a treatment on its own or in combination with cosmetic treatments like veneers, crowns, bridges, and implants.
-
How long do braces take to straighten teeth?
This usually depends on the type of brace that you opt for and the severity of the case. Before getting braces in Grantham, one of our dental experts will assess your teeth and make an estimate on how long it will take to get your teeth into a more desirable position. Book a consultation at our dental practices to see how adult braces could help you achieve your ideal smile.
-
Are adult braces worth it?
Of course! We see that many clients come to us reporting that their over crowded or crooked smile is effecting their confidence. Braces in Grantham can also be used to improve the function of your teeth and help you to bite and chew better.
